I am tapping here. To write. Can I add a photo?

That’s right, girls and boys, I got a 2:1 - MEng Computer Systems and Software Engineering is me. I can’t think of an appropriate picture to post, so here’s someone looking delighted. Also, you can read my project if you want - here. It’s thrilling, I can localise features in three-dimensional face images with quite a good rate. I won’t spoil the ending completely, read it yourself.

There’s some photos of me in a bow tie kicking about on the Internet from Gradball. I’ll post a selection up here when I’ve also got some graduation day photos.

Mozilla are trying to set a world record for the most downloads in a day, so you should all download and install Firefox, it’ll make the world a better place. It’s a new category and they’re hoping for 1.6 million downloads within 24 hours. I’ll be getting 37 myself.

Ready salted to be precise.

Oodles of free storage, well 2gb, to store your files online - just by dragging to a local folder which then syncs. It does version control, which is cool, but the main feature is that you can then access your files from anywhere via the web interface. Files in the public folder can also be directly linked to, enabling them to be shared with anyone else with a browser to download or view them. I’ll come up with a more worthwhile review once I’ve used it a bit more… Sadly I’m out of invitations, so if you want an account you’ll have to sign up for a beta invitation from them and hope. Cross your fingers and whatnot. There will be free accounts when it comes out of the beta, so don’t fear you’re missing the train completely!
